These jugs and their containers are vintage items from Portugal. The jugs are encased in bark harvested from the Cork Oak trees of Portugal, which was hand carved and assembled. The sustainable practice of cork farming is a centuries old practice, and is still a vital part of the Portuguese economy today, as it produces nearly half of the world's cork products. History aside, these vintage items make for great rustic, yet bohemian decorative pieces. 

The jugs have a mouth diameter of 1", an overall diameter of 6.5" and a height of 14". The cork containers range from 0.5 to 2" in thickness and 9-11" in base diameter. We have many of these items in each of the colors shown, and our team will work with you in finding the right item. However, please note that as these are vintage goods made from primarily organic materials, some items may show varying degrees of use and natural deterioration. While we believe the natural wear contributes to the uniqueness and character of each piece, the Nomadic Trading team will work to provide the best options available.
