These cork planters are vintage items from Portugal. The planters are made of bark harvested from the Cork Oak trees of Portugal, which was hand carved and assembled. The sustainable practice of cork farming is a centuries old practice and is vital to Portugal, as it produces nearly half of the world's cork products. History aside, these items make for great rustic, yet bohemian pieces in the garden or home, as they can be used as planters, or for storage of goods indoors and out.   

We have many of these cork planters in various sizes, and our team will work with you in finding the right item. However, please note that as these are vintage goods made from organic materials, some items may show varying degrees of use and natural deterioration. While we believe the natural wear contributes to the uniqueness and character of each piece, the Nomadic Trading team will work to provide the best options available.

These standard planters measure 12-18" in height, 6-11.5" in mouth diameter, 0.5-2" thick, and 8-10 pounds in weight. These sizing guidelines are loose, as each is classified by any combination of each of these factors.
