1930s RUG FROM NAIN, IRAN
This nearly-antique rug comes from Nain, Iran circa 1930. Nain pieces are prized for rug collectors due to their use of incredibly fine wool and high knot density, which create a very thick rug pile. The designs of Nain pieces are also renowned, with their intricate curvilinear designs and use of subtle, naturally-derived color. This particular Nain piece is no exception, and it is in excellent condition.
Because of the size of our inventory, we are unable to keep rugs open and on display in store. Please note that slight shadows or differences in color may be shown in photographs due to how rugs are folded for storage. Any creases will surely fall out once the rug has been brushed and left open for a bit of time. We apologize for any inconsistency in appearance online.
As this is an antique, hand-woven rug, there may be some signs of age and use. Though we believe this wear only contributes to the character and uniqueness of each piece, the Nomadic Trading team will work to repair items when necessary.
