1910s KARABAG RUG FROM THE CAUCASUS
This rug is an antique piece from the Karabag region of the Caucasus circa 1910. Karabag rugs are known for their vibrant colors, expert weaving and knotting, and diverse design stylings. This piece is particular is absolutely gorgeous with its range of colors with varying patina and its geometric, floral and pictoral motifs. Apart from its beauty, this rug is in excellent condition.
Because of the size of our inventory, we are unable to keep rugs open and on display in store. Please note that slight shadows or differences in color may be shown in photographs due to how rugs are folded for storage. Any creases will surely fall out once the rug has been brushed and left open for a bit of time. We apologize for any inconsistency in appearance online.
As this is an antique, hand-woven rug, there may be some signs of age and use. Though we believe this wear only contributes to the character and uniqueness of each piece, the Nomadic Trading team will work to repair items when necessary.
