This rug is an antique piece from Gordes, Turkey. Woven entirely by hand with hand-spun wool, this is a durable and sturdy piece that has lasted for over a century. Gordes rugs have been produced for generations upon generations, and are one of the first styles of Turkish rugs to be exported across the world. Known for their use of color, along with their geometric and floral motifs, these rugs are of supreme cultural and historical significance.

Because of the size of our inventory, we are unable to keep rugs open and on display in store. Please note that slight shadows or differences in color may be shown in photographs due to how rugs are folded for storage. As this is an antique, hand-woven rug, there may be some signs of age and use.
