CR8120 NEARLY-ANTIQUE 1930s CAUCASIAN SHIRVAN RUG 4'2" X 8'6"
1930s TRIBAL RUG FROM THE SHIRVAN REGION OF THE CAUCASUS
This 1930s rug is a nearly-antique piece made by the indigenous Kazak peoples of the Shirvan region of the Eastern Caucasus. The repetitive ornamental motifs, deep colors, and high quality craftmanship make for a piece that is simply stunning. This piece is in excellent condition, and has a stunning patina.
Because of the size of our inventory, we are unable to keep rugs open and on display in store. Please note that slight shadows or differences in color may be shown in photographs due to how rugs are folded for storage. Any creases will surely fall out once the rug has been brushed and left open for a bit of time. We apologize for any inconsistency in appearance online.
As this is a vintage, hand-woven rug, there may be some signs of age and use. Though we believe this wear only contributes to the character and uniqueness of each piece, the Nomadic Trading team will work to repair items when necessary. For more information regarding purchase of this rug and similar pieces, please reach out at sales.nomadic@gmail.com.
