This antique rug was made by the Kurdish people of Bijar, Iran. Like most antique and vintage Persian rugs, this piece is exceptionally crafted with handspun wool that is tightly woven by hand into this beautiful tapestry of color and design. This piece is simply stunning with its use of all-natural vegetable, root, and floral pigments and its employment of botanical motifs.

Because of the size of our inventory, we are unable to keep rugs open and on display in store. Please note that slight shadows or differences in color may be shown in photographs due to how rugs are folded for storage. Any creases will surely fall out once the rug has been brushed and left open for a bit of time. We apologize for any inconsistency in appearance online.

As this is a vintage, hand-woven rug, there may be some signs of age and use. Though we believe this wear only contributes to the character and uniqueness of each piece, the Nomadic Trading team will work to repair items when necessary.
