1930s KONYA YASTIK RUG FROM TURKEY

This rug is a nearly-antique piece from Turkey. Made in the Konya region circa 1930, this piece adheres to traditional Konya styles with its geometric design, hand-spun wool and hand-woven nature. This rug was woven with a backing with an opening, so it can also be used as a decorative pillow. This piece has held steadfast in its condition and vibrance, and will surely continue to do so for years to come.

Because of the size of our inventory, we are unable to keep rugs open and on display in store. Please note that slight shadows or differences in color may be shown in photographs due to how rugs are folded for storage. Any creases will surely fall out once the rug has been brushed and left open for a bit of time. We apologize for any inconsistency in appearance online.

As this is a vintage, hand-woven rug, there may be some signs of age and use. Though we believe this wear only contributes to the character and uniqueness of each piece, the Nomadic Trading team will work to repair items when necessary.
