This rug is a 40-year-old piece from Eastern Europe–likely Ukraine. Expertly handcrafted, this rug is breathtaking. The wool of this piece is looped so that the design appears distinctive, while the pile looks and feels shaggy and plush. With its gorgeous style and color, this rug is an excellent example of vintage European textile design. 

Because of the size of our inventory, we are unable to keep rugs open and on display in store. Please note that slight shadows or differences in color may be shown in photographs due to how rugs are folded for storage. Any creases will surely fall out once the rug has been brushed and left open for a bit of time. We apologize for any inconsistency in appearance online.

As this is a vintage, hand-woven rug, there may be some signs of age and use. Though we believe this wear only contributes to the character and uniqueness of each piece, the Nomadic Trading team will work to repair items when necessary.
