This rug is a vintage 1980s piece from Western Turkey. This piece was made in a rug workshop of the area, around the time that textile production workshops became prominent as a means of rug making. With its handspun wool and all-natural root and floral dyes, this rug is an excellent, early example of the quality of rugs these workshops were producing. 

Because of the size of our inventory, we are unable to keep rugs open and on display in store. Please note that slight shadows or differences in color may be shown in photographs due to how rugs are folded for storage. Any creases will surely fall out once the rug has been brushed and left open for a bit of time. We apologize for any inconsistency in appearance online.

As this is a vintage, hand-woven rug, there may be some signs of age and use. Though we believe this wear only contributes to the character and uniqueness of each piece, the Nomadic Trading team will work to repair items when necessary.
