This table is a vintage piece from Holland. This piece is especially unique, as it was once used as a pay table. Below the table top is a drawer compartment that can be opened from either end of the table, as it slides along a track in the table base. In the past, the hidden compartment would be used for storage, and for facilitating a discrete changing of hands of money in public. Today, this drawer would be great for storage of cutlery and linens used for dining. Though the wood is weathered and the wear of the table is consistent with its age and use, the piece is in great condition. Overall, the appearance of the table makes for a functional piece with rustic, farmhouse aesthetic. 

Please note this piece measures 46" in length, 44" in width, and 30" in height.
