This rug is a vintage piece from Karapinar, Turkey, a small city within central Turkey that is recognized for its hand-made rug production. Karapinar rugs are known for their intricate geometric and floral motifs, central medallions, rich colors derived from natural dyes and use of wool sourced local to the area. Because of the size of our inventory, we are unable to keep rugs open and on display in store. Please note that slight shadows or differences in color may be shown in photographs due to how rugs are folded for storage. Any creases will surely fall out once the rug has been brushed and left open for a bit of time. We apologize for any inconsistency in appearance online.

As this is a vintage, hand-woven rug, there may be some signs of age and use.
