RECENTLY MADE FLATWEAVE RUG FROM PAKISTAN
This rug is a new kilim piece from Pakistan. Kilim weaving is a centuries-old technique that makes for flatweave, no-pile pieces that are both aesthetically appealing and functional. Traditionally handmade in countries of the former Persian Empire, kilims are the basis of many different styles born from the region. Expertly hand-woven, this piece in particular has a lovely chevron pattern that incorporates a deep maroon tone and an off-white with a tan undertone. This piece perfectly combines the high craftsmanship of traditional rugs with the aesthetics of modern pieces.
Because of the size of our inventory, we are unable to keep rugs open and on display in store. Please note that slight shadows or differences in color may be shown in photographs due to how rugs are folded for storage. Any creases will surely fall out once the rug has been brushed and left open for a bit of time. We apologize for any inconsistency in appearance online.
