This rug is a vintage Persian piece from Karaja in present-day Iran. Karaja rugs are known for their high craftsmanship and use of beautiful, saturated colors, and this piece is no different. Geometric and floral motifs and medallions are woven across the thick pile of this piece, making for a rug that is detailed and graphic in its design. 

Because of the size of our inventory, we are unable to keep rugs open and on display in store. Please note that slight shadows or differences in color may be shown in photographs due to how rugs are folded for storage. Any creases will surely fall out once the rug has been brushed and left open for a bit of time. We apologize for any inconsistency in appearance online.

As this is a vintage, hand-woven rug, there may be some signs of age and use. Though we believe this wear only contributes to the character and uniqueness of each piece, the Nomadic Trading team will work to repair items when necessary.
