This chair is a vintage piece from Holland. This piece, made entirely of solid oak, very closely resembles the silhouette of a Louis XIV chair. Though less extravagant than the typical Louis XIV chair, the stateliness of this piece is clear; the deep burnt umber color, arched seat crown, and turned legs and supports make for a piece that conveys a rustic, subtle sense of majesty. This piece is perfect for use as a head dining chair or accent piece in any room, and could easily be upholstered. This item has aged beautifully, with any cosmetic issues serving to make the chair more charming.

Please note this piece measures 23" in length across the front, 26" in width from front to back, 19" in seat height and 49" overall.
