This ice box is a vintage piece from Hungary. Used in the early twentieth century as a refrigerator, this ice box was a necessity in the home. The original metal lining of this piece has remained intact, allowing the ice box to have a classic appearance true to its original function. With the top compartment and interior shelving space, this piece would make an excellent and unique storage cabinet in the home or kitchen. The painted and naturally distressed appearance of this piece would work well in a chic, yet rustic space in need of a vintage touch.
