These poufs are carefully created by master craftsmen in Turkey. The covers are made of siirt fabric, which is comprised of long, silky mohair wool from the angora goat. This fabric style originated in the southeastern Turkish city of Siirt but is used in the creation of textiles—including these poufs—throughout the country.
